            is home of the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), a 
            leading research institution since its founding in 1865. UTMB comprises eight hospitals with 919 beds and 
              outpatient clinics. The clinical and research faculty totals nearly 
              2,000. UTMB Children's Hospital has 61 beds, outpatient 
              clinics, and acute, intensive, intermediate and neonatal care areas. 
              It also has the second dedicated inpatient pediatric hospice in
